Canicross Coaching

This purchase will entitle you to 2 x 1:2:1 coaching sessions which can either be taken together, or individually at times to suit both parties.
For bikejor, dogs MUST be over 18 months of age and have command of canicross skills, including directions and start/stops.

Please note that Cani-Hike sessions will NOT INVOLVE RUNNING, these classes are purely for hiking and will pace at around 8:30-10:00 per km pace.

This 1:2:1 session is ideal for two people who want to learn to work together as a team with their dogs. Ideal if you have two or more dogs and would like to eventually run them together. We can bring our own dogs to help yours learn the ropes and their new skills, or alternatively we can work with you and your own dog to trouble shoot or handle any areas you want to focus on. If you are bringing a partner who does not wish to participate (but they are being supportive) then you can book a single person 1:2:1.

If you would like to have a 1:2:1 session to ease you into the world of canicross or are just getting back to running and are feeling a little uneasy about joining a group, this could be your option. 1:2:1 sessions are available for all abilities and we can cater to all needs.

This pass saves you money on a block booking. By buying 5 sessions together you can save money and book on any class sessions over a two month period! Great for getting out with your dog.
This pass can be used for canicross or cani-hike. Please note that Cani-hike sessions are NOT RUNNING SESSIONS. You will not be required to run in a cani-hike session. The pace for these is expected to be around 8:30 - 10:00min per km.

As the summer kicks in and temperatures hot up, we move away from continuous running and work on conditioning with our dogs. This pass is for cani-hike sessions. A cani-hike is exactly that; hiking with your dog. These hikes can be longer than your normal runs and require a harness and line as usual. You can still use your normal canicross gear, but may wish to swap the harness for a shorter one so your dog learns the difference between hiking and running. These sessions will be guided hikes in various locations around Sherwood and surrounding areas, including public footpaths and walks, as well as more challenging terrain. These sessions are more for fitness in the warmer months as opposed to speed and make a nice complimentary session to your regular running. This pass will entitle you to 4 hike sessions over the summer months.
