Katie Millar, CNM
Katie is a Bay Area native, Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who came to midwifery from neonatal nursing and global health - a career spanning 15+ years. Her work centers on making care high-quality, compassionate, empowering, equitable, and trauma-informed. She builds trust-based relationships with her patients as the foundation of care. Katie received her BS in Nursing from Brigham Young University, Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins, and Masters in Nursing from UCSF.
Mackenzie Douglass, CNM
Mackenzie has 12+ years of experience as a midwife in a wide range of settings, from large academic medical centers to small community hospitals in low-resourced areas. She is committed to ensuring that birthing people feel empowered, informed and confident in their care. Her approach is trauma-informed and evidence-based. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing, as well as her Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certifications from the University of Pennsylvania.
Talia Borgo, CNM, WHNP, RN - San Jose
Talia is a board-certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) with 12+ years experience including most recently on the faculty of UCSF training OB-GYN residents. She loves to holistically support patients to help them affirm the innate wisdom and power in their bodies and minds. Talia holds a nursing degree from Columbia University and CNM and WHNP degrees from UCSF.
