Wilkes County Health Department

Wilkes County Health Department is currently
administering the COVID-19 vaccine only to individuals in Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Group 4, and Group 5 of the NC DHHS phased vaccine rollout. These categories include:

• Group 1: Healthcare workers & long-term care staff and residents


• Group 2: Older Adults - Anyone 65 years or older, regardless of health status or living situation
• Group 3: Child Care Center or K-12 Teachers and Staff and Front-line Essential Staff
• Group 4: Adults at high risk for exposure and increased risk for severe illness.
• Group 5: Anyone who wants a vaccine.
