*Appointments fill up quickly on the first of the month. Please go to second-chic.com to check for cancellations.

*Please arrive on time! If you are over 10 minutes late without calling, you will not be allowed to drop.

Please do not arrive early either. This defeats the purpose of having an appointment.

*If you miss two appointments without notifying us, you will no longer be allowed to consign.

*We are now scheduling appointments from the 5th to the 19th each month.

*You may only book at one store per month. Double booking will result in cancellation of one appointment. Double booking twice will result in not being able to consign for 2 months.

*We handpick items according to the brand name, trend, condition, and season. Contemporary pieces must be in like-new condition. Vintage pieces must be in very good, wearable condition.

*Management analyzes what their current needs are for the store before and during taking days. If they do not take everything you bring in, even if it is in perfect condition, please know they are doing their job.

*Please bring in a of maximum 40 items (including accessories) and off the hangers.

*The consigned price will be set by the staff to reflect current market price and demand. Price is set based on the condition, season, trend, and quality of the garment. You are welcome to provide any information you believe to be relevant to the pricing of a particular item, but the final decision will be made by management.

Discounting:

* Items that do not sell within the established time frame will be discounted by the store schedule. An item will have the partial month it was brought in and the next month at full price. The second full month the item will be discounted 25% and the third month it will be discounted to 50%.

* Management may discount early based on over flow of a category or in-store promotions.

Expiration:

* Merchandise cannot be reclaimed until the consignment period is complete.

* Items that do not sell within the consignment period will be pulled from the floor at the end their consignment period. If they are not picked up by the 10th of the following month, they become the property of Second Chic.

Payment:

* Once an item sells, your account will be credited 40% of the selling price in a check, and/or 50% in store credit. If you have an item over $500 you will get 50% for either a check or store credit.

* We do not provide notice when an individual item sells. You may check your current balance online. The credit you receive is transferable between locations, but you must take a check from the store where you’ve consigned.

*After one year, consignment payouts will become store credit.
