Opening March 10 AfroLatinidad is an exhibition of images and stories about Los Angeles' African, Indigenous, and Spanish descent settlers in 1781. The city's Black settlers were or were children of captives in the transatlantic slave trade which brought as many as 200,000 enslaved Africans to Mexico between the 17th and 18th centuries.
