NEW CAR TRAINING STUDENTS MUST REGISTER WHICH INCLUDES A PAYMENT FOR LESSON 1 - Click Here. If we find that you have scheduled a lesson without a registration and prepayment, we will unfortunately have to cancel the lesson appointment. State Regulation REQUIRES all schools to have a registration form for each student. To schedule a lesson, scroll down to the instructions and the Lesson Calendar is at the bottom of this page.

We only teach students Ages 15-24 [High School and College age - NO ADULTS.]

DPS ROAD TEST - BEFORE SELECTING AN APPOINTMENT, YOU MUST REGISTER AND PREPAY - CLICK HERE - We only administer the DPS Road Test to Ages 16-24 - No Adults. See Calendar down below. If we find that you have scheduled a Road Test without a registration and payment, unfortunately the appointment will be immediately cancelled. Thank you.

**YES, We teach in the rain for driving lessons as the students need to learn how to drive slower in poor weather conditions to avoid hydroplaning. I will contact the student on any lesson in which the weather becomes DANGEROUS, as we will cancel these generally the day of the lesson. So please do not contact me when it rains; please attend your reserved lesson. Thank you.

• Please ONLY SEND A TEXT for EMERGENCIES that occur within 5 days of the appointment! All other questions need to be sent by EMAIL, but Please review ALL the information from the email BEFORE you send a question. We have spent 100's of hours with weekly updates to our website and Orientation Information to provide ALL THE INFORMATION necessary to educate and guide busy Parents and Students through this complicated Licensing Process. This is a good time to train students to be 'mini-adults' and encourage them to read all this information for themselves as this is THEIR Driver's License not the Parent's License.
• Occasionally traffic detains us, please wait 3-5 minutes and Please DO NOT TEXT OR CALL telling us that 'you are here'. If you received the Reminder Text the day before and the two Email Reminders during the past week, then WE KNOW you have an appointment, so please be patient and WAIT ON THE SIDEWALK. We pay for a very sophisticated Acuity Calendar software that works and allows us to print the daily schedule!
• Parents-please set a safe example and DO NOT TEXT WHEN YOU ARE BEHIND THE WHEEL MOVING YOUR VEHICLE, the Risk is Too High and Costly!
  

LESSONS

• PLEASE present permit and payment to the Instructor at the BEGINNING of Lessons 2 thru 7 with cash, check, Credit/Debit, or Apple Pay.
• Please wear proper clothing [pajama pants not allowed!]
• You may schedule all 7 Required Lessons, however, Only One Lesson PER WEEK to allow time to practice the 4 hours necessary to build new skills. PLEASE do not rush as it takes 3 to 4 months to learn how to drive lawfully and safe. The DPS State Police require a 180-Day Practicing Period with the Learner's License before they can take their DPS Road Test. If the Instructor observes that the student is Not Practicing and Progressing, we will cancel the next lesson to allow time to practice.
• Student must practice a total of 4 hours in between lessons (Example: Eight (8) thirty-minute home practice sessions) . The student needs this to build eye-hand-foot coordination and control. This will allow the student to advance to the next lesson's driving environment. Otherwise we have to use lesson time to practice the prior lesson skills before advancing. Same as learning a musical instrument, home practice is MANDATORY
• No Show Fee $40: Failing to show up for a reservation results in a No Show and the fee must be paid prior to the next lesson. Pay No Show Fee
• To log practice hours for your personal recording, Click here for 30-Hour Home Practice Log Sheet. Reminder-the parent will SIGN the completion Certificate agreeing that the 30-Hours of Practice were completed.
• YES you can purchase only one lesson if that is all you need to supplement a Parent Instruction Course for any environment that you need, however, their skills will be evaluated on PL, N and C prior to any lesson on a higher speed environment.
• We add more times occasionally and students cancel, so check back every few days for vacancies.

SCHEDULING LESSONS - This is a Self-Scheduling System

• To Schedule a Single Lesson: Select a location - select a date in black, the hours available will pop out, select the time and click 'Select and Continue'.
• To Schedule Multiple Lessons: Select a date, then select 'Add a Time' instead of 'Continue'. After all selections are made, then click 'Select and Continue".
• An EMAIL confirmation will be sent immediately after you select a lesson time, so please PRINT it for a reminder.
• The First Email Reminder will be sent 5 days prior and this will be the last day to be able to cancel online.
• The Second Email Reminder will be sent 3 days in advance.
• You will receive the text Reminder 24 Hrs. in advance, so be sure to enter a Cell Number.

CANCELLATIONS - Use the Email Confirmation-scroll to the bottom green 'Cancel/Change' button.

• Our office does not cancel lessons unless they are Late Cancellations [Less than 5 days prior to the lesson.] Students/Parents are responsible for cancelling by using the instructions below.
• If unable to attend within the 5 days, the school must be notified by text, email or calling 512-739-7570. If unable to attend within 24 hours of the lesson time, please send us a Late Cancellation text.
• Cancellation is prohibited if within 5 days of the lesson- Due to we can not fill a late cancellation vacancy. We can provide a Late Cancellation that our Admin. will handle upon request, and this fee may or may not be assessed. Only assessed if the vacancy does not refill.
• To Cancel/Reschedule: Go to Your Email Inbox-see lesson confirmation Email, scroll to bottom-see Green Box: Change/Cancel Appointment. It will bring you to the lesson appointment page And then Click the green button 'Cancel' or 'Reschedule'. If the two green buttons do not display, the beige box states it can't be cancelled online, it must go through the main office and there may be a $40 Late Cancellation Fee.
