Kern High School District COVID Testing

This testing center is located at the KHSD district office - 5801 Sundale Ave., Bakersfield, 93309.

Day 0 = date of symptom onset or positive test collection, whichever came first

Day 11 = original return date

If testing to return prior to 10 days, you MUST:
1) make sure symptoms are resolving and no fever
2) select a time slot that is on or after day 5 of your isolation period
3) return on or after day 6

KHSD STAFF: Rapid Antigen Test to Reduce Isolation

If your results are negative, and you have no symptoms OR symptoms are resolving, and no fever, you can provide the negative results to your administrator to return to work.

KHSD STAFF: Exposed or Symptomatic COVID Testing

15 minutes

A rapid antigen and PCR test is offered to staff who may have been exposed or are symptomatic. If you have had COVID in the last 90 days, you should not take a PCR test since this test can continue to return positive results. Please let the test center know if this describes your situation.

NOTE: Unfortunately, the CDPH does not allow us to provide testing to a spouse or dependents. However, COVID testing is available at EduCare (661-506-1200) to spouses and dependents of KHSD employees covered by SISC.
