Priestland's Dog Training Field

Firstly, thank you for your interest in reserving the field!

The use of the field is entirely at your own risk, please be careful entering/leaving the field after rainfall.

I have attached some pictures to help you find the field (note the patient model dog waiting to go in and have some fun!) After reading the following, if you have any further questions please do let me know.

General Info

While the field has very recently been fenced with livestock fencing to the height of 1.4 metres, and is, to all intents and purposes, “dog safe” - please be mindful that whilst we are confident your dog will stay IN the field, we cannot keep wildlife OUT. Of course this means, there may be rabbits, game birds, or even deer (who can jump fences) visiting the field on occasion. Therefore I would advise you to scan the field on your arrival if you have a dog with a particularly high prey-drive!

There is a small metal dog water bowl by the foot-gate entrance, you are welcome to use this - please bring your own water with you to fill it.

HORSES!

The neighbouring field to the dog field is used periodically for horse grazing. The horses in there are well used to dogs, but please do be mindful of them as much as possible, and do not feed them. They provide a fantastic distraction training opportunity for your dogs.

Please do not bring your dogs if they have shown signs of sickness (diarrhoea or vomiting) in the last 48 hours.

Housekeeping

-Two cars MAXIMUM are permitted to park at the field entrance (if you need more parking space please contact me directly and I will assist you)

-Please be careful when arriving/leaving, do not drive on the grass verges and be mindful of the proximity of the neighbours

-Take all rubbish/poo bags home with you

-Do not tamper with/move the agility equipment. If an accident happens and it is broken, please contact us on info@priestlandsdogs.uk

-Close the gate behind you when you leave

FAQS

How high is the fencing?

Our park-like picturesque 2.5 acre field is fenced with 1.4 metre livestock fencing, making the area a lovely dog-safe space for you (and your dog/s) to enjoy. If it is your first time visiting the field, we recommend walking around the field with your dog on the lead, so you can best decide whether our field is suitable for your dogs needs.

Can my XL bully (type) dog visit the field?

YES ! Absolutely. You are able to let them off the lead and remove their muzzle, should you wish, as you have hired the space for private use.

Can I bring more than one dog to the field?

Yes - of course. The pricing is based per "household", so if you own multiple dogs, you count as one household. If you are meeting a friend/family member at the field, that counts as two households.

Is there parking at the field?

Yes - we have two designated parking spaces. We kindly remind guests to leave the field at 45 minutes past the hour, and not to arrive early before your booking, as to allow the spaces to be cleared, and field clear before you enter.

Why isn't a time slot showing up?

If there are no time slots showing up, it means they are already booked. It is worth checking back, as cancellations do show up live on our booking system.
