    • Interview Preparation – Plan 1

      Note: Please do not book your first appointment at the time of purchase. Once your order is received I'll forward your Interview Preparation Plan. When you have completed your preparatory work and your interview date has been confirmed you can book your career coaching consultation. 1 x 2-hour session via zoom or face to face - Provision of an Interview Preparation Plan containing written guidance to support you in constructing your examples in advance of session. - Half hour review of your preliminary work during coaching session. - Practice interview. - Feedback on all elements of your preparation and responses during practice interview. - Tips and guidance for your interview. - Audio recording of your interview shared. - Approximately a total of 4 hours input on my part per client including review of post on offer, preparation of your practice interview and detailed feedback.       2 x 1.5 hour consultations via zoom or face to face Session 1: - Together we focus on identification and articulation of examples from your experience that demonstrate your knowledge and skills - An Interview Preparation Plan Template is provided which facilitates a degree of structure to your preparation - I provide a Sample Questions document in which I have aligned the questions with the competencies outlined in the job spec and with relevant policy/legislation associated with the post on offer - Tips and guidance on preparatory work for your interview Session 2: - Practice interview - Feedback on all elements of your preparation and responses during practice interview - Video and/or audio recording of your interview subject to your consent. The recording of your practice interview is sent to you following your second session - Approximately a total of 6-7 hours input on my part per client including review of post on offer, relevant policy and legislation, preparation of your practice interview. During session 1 we focus largely on your examples and optimum ways to provide evidence of your knowledge, skills and competencies. The aim is to identify and structure 10 examples during Session 1. The Interview Preparation Plan template is used to document your examples as well as providing a degree of structure to your preparation. The objective of session 2 is to build your confidence in interview technique and to agree a pre-interview plan taking on board what remains to be done. This session includes a review of your examples, recording of your practice interview, feedback on your answers and recommendations for further work, if required.
