The second shot needs to be at least 21 days after the first shot. We currently have the 3rd dose (Bivalent) which is done 8 weeks after the second dose. Schedule your child 6 months and older for a seasonal flu vaccine. Infants or children under the age of 8 receiving the flu vaccine for the first time, will need two doses, spaced 4 weeks apart to give them immunity. Everyone else just needs one shot per season.
