Underground Ceramics
Thank you for choosing Underground Ceramics pottery workshops, where creativity knows no bounds! Here's how it works:
🕑 Duration: Each pottery workshop consists of 2-hour session of hands-on instruction and artistic exploration.
🚪 Arrival: We kindly ask all guests to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to ensure a prompt beginning.
📸 Capture the Moment: At the end of the workshop, each guest will have their picture taken with their finished masterpiece. This serves as a cherished memory and will be returned once the finished pieces are returned to the host.
🔥 Firing and Glazing: Once the workshop concludes, the instructor will collect the items for firing and glazing. The guests will then fill out a short form indicating the color they have chosen. The finished masterpieces will be returned to the host at a later date.
📦 Return of finished masterpieces: Please allow 3-5 weeks for the finished items to be returned to the host. Each item will be elegantly packaged in individual gift boxes accompanied by the picture taken at the end of the event and heartfelt thank you cards. Thank you cards can be customized to indicate a message from the host.
💰 Booking Requirements: There is a $100 per person fee and can be purchased in groups. Each workshop requires a minimum of 5 participants, with the option for fewer guests at the 5-person minimum fee.
💼 Booking Terms: A non-refundable 20% booking fee is due at the time of booking, deducted from the total payment. Bookings must be made at least 36 hours in advance, with cancellations accepted up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. Please note that booking fees are non-refundable, even within the 48-hour window.
🏠 Workspace: The host is responsible for providing the workspace, including tables, chairs, or any outdoor seating arrangements. Underground Ceramics supplies all necessary materials for the workshop, including clay, tools, wooden boards, and tablecloths.
👕 Attire: Guests are asked to wear clothing they do not mind getting clay on, ensuring a worry-free creative experience. Some aprons will be provided but are not always guaranteed for all guests.
