1. Introduction

By subscribing to our Cleaning Subscription services, you (“the Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). These Terms govern your use of our recurring cleaning services and the associated benefits, such as accumulating cleaning credits, scheduling preferred dates, and gifting cleaning sessions.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

We offer three recurring subscription plans (“Plans”), each providing Home Essentials Tidy cleaning sessions of 1.5 hours (90 minutes). Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

1. Weekly Cleaning Subscription: A$89.10 per week

• Included: 1 total clean (1.5 hours) per week

2. Fortnightly Cleaning Subscription: A$173.25 every two weeks

• Included: 2 total cleans (1.5 hours each) in a two-week period

3. Monthly Cleaning Subscription: A$336.60 every four weeks

• Included: 4 total cleans (1.5 hours each) in a four-week period

Note: Each subscription is exclusively for the Home Essentials Tidy service, normally priced at A$99.00 per session.

3. Subscription Benefits

• Accumulating Cleaning Credits: Any unused cleaning sessions within your billing period convert to cleaning credits. You can use these credits for future cleaning appointments as long as your subscription remains active.

• Scheduled Preferences: Enjoy the flexibility of reserving preferred dates and times for your cleaning sessions. Scheduling is subject to availability.

• Gifting: You may transfer your cleaning credits or schedule a cleaning on behalf of someone else. Simply notify us in advance and provide the recipient’s details.

4. Payment and Billing

• Subscriptions are charged automatically at the start of each billing cycle (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly) to the payment method on file.

• To change your payment method or billing information, you must update your account details at least 3 business days before the next billing date.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying us in writing or via your online account. Cancellations take effect on the next billing cycle; no prorated refunds are issued for the current billing cycle.

• Any unused cleaning credits at the time of cancellation will expire if not used before the final billing cycle ends.

6. Scheduling and Use of Credits

• To book a cleaning session, you must contact us with your preferred date and time or use our online scheduling system. Appointments are confirmed based on availability.

• Unused sessions or credits automatically roll over to the next billing cycle while your subscription remains active.

• Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable except as a gift (per Section 3), and cannot be redeemed for a service other than the Home Essentials Tidy unless explicitly approved by us in writing.

7. Scope of Work and Service Standards

• Work Hours: Each cleaning session is limited to 1.5 hours. If your needs exceed this duration, additional time must be booked separately.

• Cleaning Pace: Our cleaners work at a speed consistent with Australian domestic cleaning industry standards. While we strive for thorough cleaning, certain tasks may not be completed within 1.5 hours.

• Customer Obligations: The Customer is responsible for providing safe access to the property, ensuring no hazardous conditions exist, and clearly communicating any special instructions in advance.

8. Behavior and Conduct

• Respect and Safety: Abusive, aggressive, or threatening behavior toward the cleaner is strictly prohibited. If the cleaner feels unsafe or experiences such behavior, the cleaner may stop work and leave immediately. Any remaining cleaning time or credits for that session are forfeited without refund.

• Refusal of Service: The cleaner may refuse to perform tasks they deem unsafe, unreasonable, or outside the agreed scope. If the Customer indicates they are unwilling to pay, the cleaner may also refuse or cease service.

9. Liability and Damages

• Our cleaners take reasonable care to avoid damage when working in your home. However, minor accidents may occur. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement, up to a reasonable amount. We are not responsible for wear and tear or pre-existing damage.

• We will not be liable for any losses or damages that arise from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Modifications and Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and the pricing of our subscriptions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email or our website. Continued use of our services after such modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Agreement

By purchasing a Cleaning Subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not subscribe to or continue using our services.
