Rosefinch Body Piercing

Because of the small size of our studio/staff, we primarily operate by appointment only for all services. This includes jewelry shopping—we really want to help you purchase the right size/style for your piercing! You may book up to 30 minutes prior to the appointment time and we do not require a deposit; all we ask is that if you need to cancel or reschedule, please send us a quick email beforehand. **We will post additional Fri/Sat/Sun availability once our second piercing room is finalized (likely early April). We should be able to accept more walk-ins once this happens as well. Stay tuned!**

❖ Pricing ❖

• Single Piercing: $50 service fee for one piercing + cost of jewelry.
  • Example: A single conch piercing comes out to $50 + cost of jewelry.
    • A single piercing starts at $100 in total with basic titanium jewelry (a ball or disc)
    • A single piercing starts at $150 in total with basic gold jewelry (a 2mm prong-set CZ or a 2mm gold ball)
• Multiple Piercings: $50 single piercing fee + $25 service fee per each additional piercing + cost of jewelry.
  • Example: A tragus piercing + conch comes out to $75 + cost of jewelry.
    • Two piercings starts at $175 in total with basic titanium jewelry
    • Two piercings starts at $275 in total with basic gold jewelry
  • Example: A triple helix would be $100 + cost of jewelry.
• Jewelry Change or Removal Fee: $10 flat fee, regardless of number of piercings changed in one sitting
• Downsizes are free of charge for piercings performed at Rosefinch. For piercings performed elsewhere, there is no service fee but rather the cost of the post with a $5 discount ($15/post).
• Re-processing worn jewelry for re-insertion or piercing: $20 - $30
  • There are limitations on what outside/worn jewelry we can insert. Please read our full policy on what kinds of outside/worn jewelry can be re-processed and re-inserted, as well as the re-processing fees associated with them!
  • Please note that we do not pierce with outside jewelry (please take a peek at the full policy)
• Consultations and check-ups are free of charge.

❖ Jewelry Selection Notes ❖

• Please feel free to preview our inventory/jewelry pricing on this site here, which lists a portion of the jewelry that we have in the studio (there's always more in person!).
• If there are specific pieces you would like but we do not yet have them in stock, please complete our custom order form.
• We take jewelry quality very seriously. The initial jewelry we use to pierce with meets standards set forth by the Association of Professional Piercers.
• Our selection is comprised of implant-grade titanium (ASTM F-136), implant-grade steel (ASTM F-138), niobium, and solid 14k -18k gold that is nickel, cadmium, and lead-free, as well as specifically alloyed for biocompatibility.

❖ General Info ❖

• Schedule (changing/expanding in April):
  • Nia: Tuesdays and Sundays (front-of-house); Thursdays through Saturdays (piercer)
  • Elaine: Tuesdays and Sundays (piercer)
• Payment: Cashless payment such as debit/credit/Apple Pay is preferred. We do accept cash payments, but cannot make coin change.
• IDs: Per the Illinois Public Health Department, ALL clients—including minors—must provide valid government-issued ID in order to get pierced.
  • ID must be provided at every new piercing appointment, even if you have been pierced at our studio before.
  • For minors, the parent/legal guardian's ID AND the child's birth certificate, passport, state ID, driver's permit, or driver's license is required. If their last names do not match, a birth certificate is required.
  • Clients under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian for both piercing and jewelry change-out services.
• We can only assist one client per appointment. If two people would like to get pierced together, please have each individual book a consecutive timeslot.
• Getting to the Studio:
  
  
  • Parking: There is plenty of free street parking along W. Erie St (East-West); there is also free street parking along N. Damen Ave in the immediate 1 block radius (North-South).
  • Public transit: The studio is a 0.6 mile walk from the brand new Damen Green Line stop. You can also take the northbound #50 Damen bus from the station, which drops you off at either Damen & Ohio or Damen & Huron (either stop is one block away from the studio).
• Face Masks: Face masks are optional for clients; piercers will wear masks during your procedure.
