Mahjong 101 is perfect for the brand-new, first-time player looking for a clear and simple explanation of the basics: objective, tiles, playing card, and format and flow of play. Tickets are $75/person.

Guided Play (or Mahjong 102) tickets are perfect for players who have already attended a lesson and are looking for additional help with making game-time decisions. You're mostly on your own, but can call our instructors over for an assist! Tickets are $60/person.

This lesson is the perfect starting point for beginners looking to learn mahjong in a fun and friendly environment. Lessons are $88/person and include a 2024 NMJL playing card.

A minimum of 4 players are required for a private lesson (but the more, the merrier!). Add up to 3 additional players to this booking by selecting one of the add-ons below (after you click "Book").
