Salon Policies & Booking Guidelines

For the comfort and convenience of all, please take a moment to review the following policies and guidelines before booking your appointment:

1. Appointment Calendar Access

The booking calendar opens on the 20th of each month for the following month.

  • For example, May appointments become available on April 20th.
  • If you don’t see a date or time that works for you, please reach out to me at 703-357-8827.

2. Non-Refundable Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit will be credited to your total service cost.

  • Deposits may be transferred one time to another available date as long as the reschedule request is made at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled time or failure to show up for your appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service.

4. Timeliness

Please arrive on time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling and will still be subject to the late fee of $20.

5. Excessive Matting / Neglect Fee

Proper maintenance of your locs is important. If your locs are excessively matted due to lack of maintenance, a fee will be applied to cover the extra time and work required. This fee will be assessed after evaluating your locs condition and will be discussed with you before the service begins, ensuring you’re aware of any extra steps needed to get your locs back in top shape.

6. Add-Ons & Additional Services

All add-ons (such as styles, detoxes, or treatments) must be selected at the time of booking, so I can allocate sufficient time for your appointment.

  • Add-on requests made during your appointment are not guaranteed and will be accepted only if time permits.
  • Standard charges apply for approved in-session add-ons.

7. Scheduling Assistance

If you’re unsure what service to book, please reach out before making your appointment. You can call or text me at 703-357-8827 for guidance. I'll gladly help you choose the right service to ensure your appointment is booked correctly. This helps avoid confusion and ensures you get the proper service for your needs.

8. Salon Etiquette

To maintain a calm and pleasant environment, I kindly ask that you use earphones if you wish to listen to music, watch videos, or take phone calls during your appointment. Keep your phone/device volume low so it does not disturb other clients. By following this policy, everyone in the salon can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.


9. Accepted Payment Methods for Final Payments

  • Preferred: Cash or Zelle
  • Accepted with a 5% fee: Debit/Credit Cards & Apple Pay

10. Media Release

  • Media Release (Photos/Video): During your appointment, I may take photos or videos of your hair/service for my portfolio or social media. By booking your service, you consent to being photographed or recorded in this way. If you prefer not to be recorded or photographed, just let me know before your service begins – I absolutely respect your privacy and will accommodate your request
