You must present one of the following unexpired, government-issued photo IDs:

U.S. passport or passport card
U.S. military ID
Foreign passport with a valid U.S. Visa

- Do Not Sign in Advance:
Documents requiring a Jurat must be signed in front of the notary. - You may sign beforehand for acknowledgments, but you still need to appear in person.
Have the Full Document:
The entire document must be available. The notary cannot notarize a signature page alone. - Know the Type of Notarization You Need:
The notary cannot select the notarial act for you. If unsure, ask the person or agency requesting the notarization. - Travel Fees:
If the notary comes to you, travel fees will apply and must be agreed upon in advance.
Notary Service Descriptions: - Acknowledgment – $15 per signature
The signer acknowledges that they voluntarily signed the document. Signing may occur before the notary appointment. - Jurat – $15 per signature
The signer swears or affirms that the document's contents are accurate and signs in front of the notary. - Oath or Affirmation – $15
The notary administers a verbal oath or affirmation, usually for depositions or sworn statements. - Certified Copy of Journal Entry – $30
A certified copy of a notarial journal entry can be provided upon written request, but it is limited to entries related to the requesting individual.
