CLASS INFO

  • Classes ( with the exception of drop-ins) are in 6 week sessions. That means that you get to train with the same women every week, which helps foster a sense of trust – and fun!
  • For anyone who hasn't pole danced before, Beginner Pole must be taken before Intermediate Pole, regardless of athletic or dance background. There's a lot of important pole specific skills and "lingo" that will be covered in the Beginner class. If you have pole danced before, let us know when you register so that we can set up a time to asses your skill level and get you into the proper class.
  • All classes start with a warm up and strengthening exercises, move on to the focus of the class (which is different depending on the class) and end with stretching and cool down.


WHAT TO WEAR TO POLE CLASSES?

  • Booty shorts and tight fitting shirts. Leggings are welcome in beginning sessions only. Optional are dance thigh high leggings or ankle braces for pole climbing.
  • Classes are done barefoot. Heels will not be allowed until the intermediate/advanced classes.
  • No lotions or oils on the hands, arms or legs. Lotions cause the pole to get slippery, which compromises safety.
  • Please don't wear any jewelry to avoid scratching the pole and pinching skin.

**Bring a yoga mat if you have one to use for warm-ups and conditioning!**


BENEFITS OF POLE DANCING

Did you have a stressful day at work or at home? A pole workout is a great way to relieve stress! In fact, pole night often ends up being my students' favorite night of the week!

This is because adrenaline builds up when we get stressed and a good workout session using the pole will work EVERY muscle in your body – it's such a perfect (and healthy) way to release all of that extra adrenaline.

Pole dancing isn’t just a great workout. Sure....it burns up to 720 calories per hour and is proven to be one of the most efficient, low-impact, high-intensity full-body workouts in existence...but, more importantly is how our dancers FEEL after each & every class, and the highly gratifying technical progress they have to show for their days, months, or years of pole dance training.

Do these times not work for you? Do you have 5 friends who you want to take a pole class with? We can set up a pole session just for you! It works just like a regular 6 week class session - except you get to pick the people and the time!

You’ve seen it at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and in countless movies & music videos. Now it’s your time to shine! We will have your entire group feeling like center-stage stars, even if just for the night!

Pole dance parties are the perfect kick-off to the ultimate night out with friends, and are popular for bachelorette parties, birthdays, and a good ol girls' night out!
